Linda De La Ysla and Stephanie Briggs of The Community College of Baltimore County, along with Christine Heilman of Georgia Gwinnet College presented “The Accelerated Learning Program: Deepening the Teaching of Writing to Basic Writers”.
That was followed by Jamey Gallagher and Peter Adams of CCBC co-presenting with Michelle Zollars: “Toward Consensus: Basic Writing Pedagogy in Community Colleges, from Faculty Development to Active Learning”.
Finally, Monica Walker, Cheryl Scott, and Robert Miller of CCBC presented “Trends in Accelerated Learning”.
All 3 presentations were well attended and had great audience response.
